So at work the other day I heard the following conversation:
Hello mate you alright?
I’m great thanks.
Good man. Good man.
And I thought to myself why does the fact that he is feeling ‘great’ make him a good man. Has society conditioned is to think the ones that are better of are deserving of enhanced mood elevation. Is it nature or nurture? Is it like the ‘rich get richer’ scenario? It annoyed me a little. But then I thought maybe he was just being nice and it was a turn of phrase and he isn’t that deep. Then I got over it and started thinking about dinner…
